Pendleton, CA 92055 You MUST have a VALID Driver's License to get on base.  Tell the Marnie on duty you are there for the SoCAL ASA Softball training.  North/South San Diego Districts Rick Hausvik 619-818-0170 Registration: 7:30-8:20 AM Clinic Begins: 8:20 AM   ******************************************************************************************************* Take the 2013 ASA Exam On-Line   The Exam must be submitted by February 11, 2013 and the Corrections MUST be submitted by March 4, 2013 IF YOU HAD ACCESS LAST YEAR SKIP TO STEP 3.   Request access to the ASA on-line Exam at the following web site (if you previously requested and received access, do not do this again):  http://SoCalASA.UmpAssigner.com  Click “New Account Registration” Enter all required fields (create your username), and MI and Address; capitalize the first letter of your first and last names.  In the field “Your Local Association” select  your District Click “Sign me up!” You will receive an email within 2 days from" No Reply at Ump Assigner" with your password.  Check your junk or spam folder in case it is put there.  You may want to add this as a valid email sender to your anti-spam program: systems@umpassigner.com.  A downloadable hard-copy of the Exam is available on the web site.  You may print it before taking the Exam.  Click “Take ASA Exam”, scroll down and click “Click here”. Take the Exam by signing into the web site: http://SoCalASA.UmpAssigner.com Click “Take ASA Exam” on the left side of the screen. If you want to dual-certify you must take the Exam twice, once as Fast-Pitch and once as Slow-Pitch. You may suspend the Exam at any time and return at a later time to finish it by either clicking on “Suspend exam” or logging out.  The next time you sign in and select “Take ASA Exam” it will take you to the next question to be answered.  Do not click on “Submit Exam for Grading” until you are completely finished.  Once you complete and submit the Exam you will immediately be given your grade and the question numbers which are incorrect.   You will also be sent an email with your results.  Save this email for your records.  The results are automatically sent to your DUIC and the Umpire Development UIC.  If you pass the Exam, there is nothing else to do.  Your grade will be recorded and you will be given credit for passing the Exam as part of the Certification process. If you do not pass the Exam with a grade of 84% or better and you want to be Certified, you may do one of these options (email on or before March 4, 2013): Forward the email with your results to Laura_Head@hotmail.com with the correct answer and rule reference for each incorrect answer.   OR Print the email you receive.  Write clearly the correct answer and the rules references next to each incorrect answer.  SCAN IT and email the answer sheet only (Do not send the exam!) to the UDUIC: Laura Head.  If you have questions call Laura directly at 562-221-4540.  If you have any problems with these instructions or with using the Ump Assigner system, contact Laura Head at Laura_Head@hotmail.com   Training Video Clips   ALL CERTIFIED UMPIRES:  Please contact your District UIC to give them your availability.
